Late Spring Break

I have not posted in a while, but here is my spring break. It was so long and eventful that it would take years to write it all. These are mostly just pictures of the highlights from the trip, but if you want to hear the whole story then you can go to either jennysjabberings.blogspot.com or mauniasplace.blogspot.com. Hope you like the pictures! (By the way, if it seems like I have a fake smile in the pictures, it's probably because I had the flu for most of the vacation. It was NOT fun to be sick on vacation!)

AUSTIN

This is my sister, me, and my friend Rylie in the bath tub after getting out of the pool. Rylie is my friend that moved to Texas in fourth grade.
While we were staying with Rylie in Austin we decided to go to some caves that had some really cool formations. I'm not quite sure what this one is called.

These are called soda straws. There were tons of them hanging from the ceiling. They were called soda straws because if you took them off the ceiling you could use them as straws. (I would probably like to wash mine first though. :-0 )

My mom and I went to see the bats by this one bridge. There are about 1.5 million bats there at the height of the season. The bats kept coming out even after my mom and had left. It was amazing!

SAN ANTONIO

The building that we are standing in front of is the Alamo. It is a really old building where a famous war took place, but I can't remember what war it was. (It must be because my teacher has been filling my head with the tons of wars that have happened for U.S. independence. Who would have known there were so many!)
This is the friendship torch. It was really cool to see it at night, but I don't have any pictures of it at night.

Our final destination was my Grandpa and Nana's house. They have a dog, a horse, a dog, and two cats. This is my Grandpa with me and my sister. His name is Cary and my Nana is named Joe.

This is my Nana and Grandma with their dog Barley. Barley always had to be in the exact same spot that you were, but he was tons of fun.

This is still Barley.

This is still Barley except that in this picture he is in the lake which is out back by the horse's barn.

This is Nana standing by the horse's barn. The horse's name is Cutter. He was also lots of fun. Everyone got to ride him. My sister and I also got to help feed him.

Cutter was a great horse!

Those are most of the things that happened during spring break, but there is still more to see on my mom or sister's blog. It was quite the vacation!
