The Long Lost Song
For those of you who don't know, my dad is not very musical. I'm sure that he would admit it to you if you asked him. Anyways, the other day, at my aunt and uncle's house, we found a song called misty. It turns out that it was written by my dad about his dog, Misty, which is funny all by itself, but what is really funny, are the lyrics. They are "Misty you are pretty and you're smart, you are a golden lab. You were trained while young. Remember that you are supposed to be smart and nice to me. You know when it is going to rain or anything else here even an Earthquake." When the words are "it's g0oing to rain" it goes up one note at a time and back down again, so if you are playing it and singing it at the same time, it is really really funny. The music looks like this:

Late Christmas
I know that you're probably all thinking that it's weird that I haven't written about Christmas, but I just seem to have not gotten around to writing on my blog in quite a while now. We spent our Christmas in Utah with my grandparents. I can officially say that I know what cold is like. I suppose that everyone like me that lives in California probably thinks that it's cold when either you can see your breath or it is 50 degrees or lower outside. After being to Utah in the winter, I no longer think that that is really that cold. I now think that I can only say that I'm cold when it is snowing or 18 degrees outside. (BRRRRRRRR!!!!!) While in Utah, I spent most of my time in the snow building snow walls, snow men, and making snow
angels.
My dad tried to help me build an igloo, but the snow was
too soft
:-(
The snow was a lot of fun, but if any of you have ever been in snow, then you know that the fun has to stop eventually because one of the adults has to try and ruin the fun by saying that we better come in and warm up or else someone is going to get frostbite. (Why do they always do stuff like that? It's like they think that playing in the snow would actually make us sick or give us frostbite! As
if!) When the moment we had been waiting for was finally here, everyone rushed out of the snow and into our nice warm beds on Christmas eve. On Christmas morning, my sister and I were up bright and early to open gifts. Unfortunately, the parents didn't want to be up that early, so when the grandparents were up, my grandma helped me find some bells. We used those bells to get those sleepyhead parents out of bed. I couldn't believe that my mom and dad would even dream of sleeping in on vacation! When I had gotten then up by opening their door and shaking the bells, everyone gathered in the living room. It was a very exciting Christmas for me. In the middle of opening a present, a different present started to ring. When I opened it, it turned out to be a cell phone! I got a ton of other great stuff to like Nancy Drew computer games, a miopup (An electronic dog), and a lot of other things that I would name if there weren't so many of them. Christmas was tons of fun! I can't wait till next Christmas!

No Competition
I recently read a blog by someone about my age. His name is Cody Byers. His blog was VERY funny... and mine isn't. I could try to be funny, but I would still probably be no competition to his very funny blog. If you want to read his blog, you can find the link on the side of my website with the rest of the websites I like. The website is kidwithexperiences.blogspot.com. If you get the chance, this blog is very funny to read so you should go to it. You should also see some other blogs that people I know have written like my sisters blog (mauniasplace.blogspot.com), my mom's blog (jennysjabberings.blogspot.com), and a couple other websites that I like. I am sure that you will be very amused by them. :-)
