My Pets
My family used to have a lot of pets. Over the years, we have had two rats, a gecko, a dog, lots of fish, and two hermit crabs. The rats, both hermit crabs, and all the fish died. :-( The rats died first and my sister and I were both really sad. Then the hermit crabs died. My sister and I each had our own hermit crab. Mine died first because he didn't want to move out of his shell and find a new one. Eventually, he just got way o big for his shell and it suffocated him. He died the same day as my fish did. (We aren't very good with fish.) A little while ago, my sister's hermit crab died. Unlike mine where we dug a hole and put my hermit crab in it, my sister put her hermit crab in a velvet box with his shell, a note, and a couple other things. Then my mom and sister gave him a proper burial in the backyard and marked his grave with a spoon that reads. "Here lies Mr. Wiggles" (That was his name.) After all of those pets died, we were left with only the dog, Cassidy, and the gecko, J.J. My all of those dying pets helped my mom reach her goal. That goal is to have all of the pets dead by the time my sister and I are both at collage. (My sister and I didn't think that was very nice.) Even though we only have two pets left now, one of them is the cutest one. That one is my dog Cassidy and I have an entire story about her. I love my pets and my goal is the opposite of my mom's. My goal is to be able to keep the pets alive and be able to enjoy them for as long as I can. (Pictures will be added soon.)

Crafts
I love to do tons of crafts. The first craft I like to do is sewing. I do lots of cross stitch and I'm really good at it. I mostly sew simple things, but my mom sews lots of complicated things.
Another thing I am really good at is making little clay animals. I once made a dog, but my mom smashed it's nose. so I took off it's legs, replaced them with flippers, put whiskers on it, and made it into a seal. I am really gifted at making small things out of clay. If you where to tell me to make a life size sculpture, I probably wouldn't be very good at it. I am one of the worst drawers that I know. I can't even draw a circle without making it wavy on the sides. I just don't have a very steady hand with a pencil.
Another thing I sometimes do (Although not as often as sewing of making clay animals.) is knit. I haven't really knitted a lot of things. I pretty much made about two scarfs and that's it. I also have another scarf in the process of being made. I love to make scarfs, but I would really like to be able to make something else like I hat. I think I might have made one of those once. I think it is also possible to make blankets or jackets\vests that are not to hard to make. I might eventually want to make something like that, but for now I kind of just want to stick to the basics. (Sorry I don't have pictures of anything I knitted.) :-(
The last craft I really like to do is cake decorating. I once entered a cake in the orange county fair with many other craft things that I have done. You'll hear more about that later. Anyways, when all of the judges gave out the prizes for the people who entered cakes, I got division winner. (That's about the second best thing you can get. The first best is Best of Show. Division winner is still first place though.) I was really excited and I love to decorate cakes. They always turn out really cute when I decorate them. Maybe you could try doing it some time. It's a lot of fun. Those are basically all the crafts that I do but more crafts may be added to the variety of what I can do soon!! :-)
My Dog Cassidy
Since this blog is called the dog lovers blog, I guess it would be a good idea to have an entry about dogs. Since I'm new to blogs, I'm not quit sure what to write. First of all, I have a dog named Cassidy. She is VERY cute as those of you who have seen her know. There is a lot to say about her. She is part German Shepard and part I don't know what. She's mostly brown with a white stomach and white paws. She also has the occasional black spot here and there, but other than that, she's pretty much like any other dog. That's sort of true, but not really. She looks like any other dog, but she is definitely not just normal. She is the most kind dog I know and has never bitten someone all her life. When we first saw her, she was just a little puppy. (I have to admit that she was cuter as a puppy.) We got her at a pound, but we were not the only people that wanted her. There were one or two other families who also thought she was adorable and wanted her. The people at the pound had to look at every one's houses and decide where Cassidy would be happiest. When they chose us, I was really happy. We took her home the next day, and she seemed to love our house. At one point in time, she decided that she liked my dad's sandals and fell asleep with her paws in them. It was really cute. Ever since she has been like part of the family. Sometimes when my mom picks me up at the top of the walking path after school, I find none other than Cassidy, sitting in the trunk, waiting eagerly for my arrival. I love her a lot and so do all my friends. Just ask Bailey, Rylie, Marcea, or Lauren. They will all tell you that Cassidy is one of the cutest and nice dogs they have ever met. Two families just got German Shepards because they loved Cassidy so much. She really is a great dog. (Pictures will be added soon.)
